It was home to famous writers and artists such as Jane Austen and Charles Dickens. You can also visit the imposing Art Deco Freemans’ Hall, which is is the headquarters of the United Grand Lodge of England.
There’s plenty to do and many sights to see, with shopping, theatre, and culture right on its doorstep – not to mention the endless places to eat and drink. Covent Garden Market and the pedestrianised piazza is the hub of the area. It’s the perfect place for people watching or shopping in the fabulous boutiques.
